Back to school and safe?

Do you really know who your kids will be with, even at school? This is a world where trust is something we find very hard to come by. The problem is, we want our children to feel safe and be able to trust the right people if they need help in some form.

It is vital to know what kind of environment they will be in when we are not there for them ( at least in person).

Find out who. when, where, and what will be going on where the child will be. It does not take that much to find out these simple things. But, a major advantage is technology that we have at hand. Using simple search engines designed to find out information about the people your children will be in contact with is now a click away.

I urge parents to at least talk to leaders and organizers of events about who will be there and how to contact them in an emergency and how they can contact you by using a cell phone designed for children or by knowing how to find a trustworthy person.
